稽首能斷諸結縛하며
능히 모든 결박을 끊은 부처님께 머리 숙여 예배합니다.
강설 ; 불교의 이상은 해탈이다.
모든 속박, 모든 구속, 모든 결박으로부터의 벗어남이다.
부처님의 가장 부처님 다운 점은
모든 것으로부터의 해탈에 있다.
부처님은 왕후장상이라는
벼슬 따위로부터 일찍이 벗어난 분이다.
부귀영화로부터 멀리 떠난 분이다.
남의 비방과 칭찬으로부터 해탈한 분이다.
온갖 번뇌와 생사와 열반에까지
전혀 흔들림이 없는 분이다.
이와 같은 불교의 진정한 이상을
다 이루신 분이기 때문에
진실로 머리 숙여 예배합니다
